When You Want Timber on the Outside Without the Work
There’s a version of this that goes: timber looks great, feels great, ages beautifully and connects a building to its landscape context in a way no synthetic material quite matches. And that’s true. There’s also a version that goes: by year four the boards are cupping, you haven’t oiled them since year two, half the screws have rust spots, and you’re looking at a full recoat in the next summer holiday. That version is also true.
WoodEvo is the answer to both. It’s a composite decking and cladding system that replicates the warmth and variation of natural timber through advanced composite technology; it’s UV-stable, moisture-resistant, splinter-free and dimensionally stable in Australian outdoor conditions. And it covers both horizontal and vertical surfaces, so architects and designers can use a single material family across the entire outdoor palette. Currently available through CSP Architectural in Victoria.

The WoodEvo Range
WoodEvo Decking Range
Composite decking boards in a range of widths, surface profiles and timber-look colourways, from natural ash tones through warm brown and dark charcoal profiles.
WoodEvo Cladding Range
Composite cladding boards for external vertical wall surfaces, bringing the same timber-look aesthetic from the deck to the facade without the maintenance mismatch that comes with mixing natural timber cladding and composite decking on the same project.
One Range. The Whole Outdoor Space.
The practical advantage of the WoodEvo range covering decking, cladding and battens isn’t just about convenience; it’s about design resolution. When horizontal deck boards and vertical cladding or screening come from the same product family, they weather the same way, age the same way and are maintained the same way. There’s no mismatch in tone between a sun-greyed timber wall and a freshly oiled composite deck. No decision about whether to match or contrast. One material, one outcome, one conversation with your client about ongoing care.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is WoodEvo available outside Victoria?
WoodEvo is currently available through CSP Architectural in Victoria. If you’re working on a project outside Victoria, contact our team to discuss options; supply arrangements may be possible depending on the project scale and timing.
What's the difference between WoodEvo Decking, Cladding and Battens?
WoodEvo Decking is designed for horizontal floor applications, with deck boards in a slip-resistant surface profile. WoodEvo Cladding is designed for vertical external wall surfaces, with the same material character applied vertically. WoodEvo Battens are three-dimensional profiles for screens, pergolas and feature elements. All three are colour-matched within the range, which allows a single cohesive material palette across the complete outdoor space.
Does WoodEvo require sealing or oiling?
No. WoodEvo products require no sealing, oiling, sanding or repainting. The UV-stabilised composite surface maintains its appearance without treatment. Maintenance is limited to occasional washing with water and mild detergent to remove surface dirt, pollen or contaminants.
Is WoodEvo suitable for pool surrounds and wet areas?
Yes. WoodEvo decking boards are moisture-resistant and have a slip-resistant surface profile, making them suitable for pool surrounds, waterfront decks and other wet outdoor environments. The composite composition means they won’t swell, warp or deteriorate with water exposure in the way natural timber does.
