Facades Where the Material Does the Talking

Equitone are through-colour fibre cement panels where the material character, texture, colour, and raw edge run completely through the panel, not just across the surface. Cut edges, exposed fixings and weathering over time aren’t problems to be hidden. They’re part of what makes an EQUITONE facade look the way it does.

The range is used extensively on commercial buildings, civic facilities, education campuses and architecturally driven residential projects across Australia and internationally. CSP Architectural is the local supply partner, bringing the full range with technical and specification support included.

The Equitone Product Range

Each Equitone product within the range has a distinct surface character. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all system, the choice of panel series shapes the entire visual outcome of the facade.

Equitone Tectiva

Smooth-faced, through-colour cement panel. Understated and precise, the surface reads differently in different light conditions, revealing subtle tonal variation as the day moves.

Equitone Pictura

Offers a selection of contemporary colour coatings. The smooth and ultra – matt finish is especially designed for high class architectural look.

View product

Equitone Lunara

Wave-textured surface with a tactile depth that catches light dramatically. The texture is formed from the material itself, not applied, which means it weathers consistently across the panel face.

View product

Equitone Natura

Raw fibre cement surface, the natural, unprocessed look of the base material. For projects where the design language is honest, industrial and intentional.

Equitone Lines

3D shaped, through-coloured fibre cement facade material that plays with lights and shadows. Equitone [lines] displays a linear embossing modelled on the size and shape of a human finger.

Equitone Inspira

A high-density fibre cement panel with a digitally printed surface covered with a UV finish. The surface finish is smooth, hard, matte and UV-resistant.

Specifying Equitone Through CSP

Getting Equitone right on a project requires more than ordering the right series. The fixing method, panel orientation, joint detailing and subframe specification all affect the final result, and the wrong choices show. Our team works through these decisions with you from early design development, and we can pair Equitone panels with the Nvelope rainscreen subframe system to complete the facade assembly from a single source.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 'through-colour' mean, and why does it matter?
Through-colour means the pigment and texture of an Equitone panel run through the full depth of the fibre cement, not just across the surface. This is significant because cut edges, fixing holes, chips and weathered areas don’t reveal a contrasting substrate colour, they show the same material character as the face of the panel. This makes EQUITONE particularly well-suited to visible fixing and open-joint installation methods where other panels would show a raw grey edge.
Yes. Equitone through-colour fibre cement panels are non-combustible and are used on commercial, civic and multi-residential buildings in Australia where NCC external wall cladding fire performance requirements apply. Technical fire certification is available from our team.

Each series in the Equitone range has a distinct surface character: tectiva is smooth; pictura is pigmented with a broader colour palette; lunara has a wave texture; natura shows the raw, unprocessed fibre cement surface; and lines features a ribbed vertical profile. The choice depends on the design intent and the visual quality you’re trying to achieve on the facade.
